Living in the US and getting transferred back to Canada we felt the whole mortgage process would be easier using a Mortgage Broker than a bank. Am I ever happy we did.
Kim was always available to answer questions for us, promptly returning emails, even when on a family vacation. We were first time homebuyers and knew basically nothing about buying a home, mortgages; interest rates etc. We found Kim by referral and she was living in our area at the time. It took us a long while to actually find a home (2 yrs or so) and during that time Kim moved out of our area. Due to the great service we received, we chose to stay with her, which meant doing things by email and phone. At first we were a little worried at how all that would work but Kim was excellent and explained over the phone and by email every possible thing we would need to know. She never rushed us and always had time to go over something again if need be. She answered all our questions with such patience and in an easy to understand way. We can’t say enough about the level of service Kim proved to us. She really made us feel like she had our best interests at heart and was in constant contact with us throughout the whole process. Buying our first home was much easier than we ever expected and Kim was a big part of that !
